The 25th Congress and General Assembly of the International Union of Crystallography was held in Prague, Czech Republic between 14th to 22nd of August, as a hybrid conference.

The International Union of Crystallography (IUCr) is a scientific union adhering to the International Science Council (ISC). Its objectives are to promote international cooperation in crystallography, contribute to all aspects of crystallography, promote international publications of crystallographic research, facilitate standardization of methods, units, nomenclatures and symbols, and form a focus on the relations of crystallography to other types of sciences.

Ahmed Gadelmawla (Project H) had the chance to attend the conference in real in Prague Conferences Center and contributed with the Effect of Bi non-stoichiometry on the crystallographic structure of Na1/2Bi1/2TiO3 as a poster focusing on perovskites materials. The results show a good correlation between the structure and its property. That explains the changes in the coercive stress and relates it to the change in the unit cell volume.
