On May 11th, 2026, Marina Günthert successfully defended her doctoral thesis. We are delighted to congratulate her on the completion of her PhD degree (Dr.-Ing.) with the highest distinction, summa cum laude.
Marina was the doctoral researcher of our second generation in Project E – Lead-Free Perovskite Semiconductors with Tunable Bandgap for Energy Conversion under the supervision of Prof. Christoph Brabec.
Following the successful defense, Marina has started a new position as a Materials Scientist at Siemens Energy, where the knowledge and experience gained during the doctoral work will continue to contribute to innovative developments in the energy sector.
