IRTG doctoral researcher joined E-MRS Fall Meeting 2023 in Poland
Project I doctoral researcher Sumbal Jamshaid has attended the 2023 Fall Meeting of the European Materials Research Society (E-MRS) held at the University of Technology in Warsaw (Poland) from September 18 to 21, 2023.
There, she presented the contribution entitled:
Synthesis of BaS3 Thin Films for the Facile BaZrS3 Thin Film Synthesis: Towards Earth- Abundant Chalcogenide Perovskites Solar Cells, in Energy and Environment Symposium C: Perovskites: from material science to devices.
She represented the advances for the “utilization of BaS3 for the synthesis of BaZrS3 thin films” and showed the progress in the “Low and High Temperature Annealing for the fabrication of BaZrS3 based thin films” during her talk. Both approaches offer novel methods for the fabrication of chalcogenide perovskite thin films, which are highly sought.
Prof. Dr. Peter Wellmann (PI of Project I) is a senate member of E-MRS (European-mrs.com) and has been the president of the European Materials Reseach Society from May 2019 until August 2021. Furthermore, this IRTG has been successfully organizing a symposium at the E-MRS Spring Meeting 2023.
