Congratulations Dr. Ahmed Gadelmawla!
On 26th May 2023 Ahmed successfully defended his thesis and received the title of Dr.
Ahmed was the doctoral researcher of our first generation in Project H – Stress Modulated Electromechanical Coupling of Lead-Free Ferroelectrics. During his research he characterized the macroscopic properties of lead-free ferroelectrics, focusing on the influence of stress in the vicinty of phase boundaries. This work was done in collaboration with the Nagoya Institute of Technology with Prof. Koichi Hayashi. In Japan he performed numerous synchrotron experiments to investigate the role of A and B-site substitions and defects.
He is now working as a R&D Engineer for high voltage ceramic capacitors at Vishay.
